Issue with Zendesk Ticket Link in JIRA

Hi all,

I would like to be able to click on the link to the corresponding Zendesk ticket directly from the JIRA ticket.
However, as shown in the screenshot below, the Exalate panel within the JIRA ticket remains stuck on “Processing”, and never loads. I assume this is where the link to the Zendesk ticket should normally appear?

Do you know what might be causing this or how we can resolve it?

You’re correct, that panel is designed to display the link to your Zendesk ticket.

The reason it’s not loading is due to a setting in the Exalate app on your Jira side. There’s an option called “Show sync panel only for admin users” which is currently enabled. This means only users with administrator privileges can see the panel.

To resolve this, you’ll need to access the Exalate console within Jira. From there, navigate to General Settings and toggle off the “Show sync panel only for admin users” option. After you disable it, the sync panel should load and display as expected.
