Is there a way to desactivate update notification mails from exalate tickets?

We do not want to have mail notification twice (one from JIRA for the original project/ticket and other one from exalated tickets)

Hi Francis Martens (Exalate),

Is there any update on the documentation regarding this question?

We are syncing local sync, and get 2 notification emails for each comment added to any ticket…

Thanks

Exalate operations will be triggering issue update events which then trigger notifications.
There is currently no way to distinguish between events generated by user.
You can have a look at notification assistant to provide finer grained notification schemes, or remove the user from the notification scheme

hi, im having this same issue. can someone please share whats the best way to turn off these notification emails for exalated tickets. It is doubling the amount of emails in all the users inboxes

Hi @jirapoweruser

Unfortunately there isn’t a simple way to avoid Jira sending notification when Exalate user does an update.

The limitation comes from Jira it self, since they do not have an option to remove a specific user from the notification scheme, there is an open request for this to be included on Jira cloud, you can follow the request here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-68100

Let me know if this answer your questions.
