Emails are not being send out on issues that are being Exalated?.. we are runing on JIRA 8.4. We are wanting to use “Batching email notifications” email feature. but at this point regular emails are not even send if we disable “Batching email notifications” feature.
When we create the record manually emails are getting triggered via regular method and also “Batching email notifications” mode.
Do we have to do anything special ?

can you share your exalate support zip, workflow, events and notification scheme - please forward to the support portal. We will try to reproduce
