How to change the sync issue

Hi,

We are using exalate in our Jira server to sync issues between different projects.

Once an issue was created in project A (for example ticket number A-123) the same ticket will be opened in Project B (for example ticket number B-111). Now when the ticket in project B changed his status to duplicate, the user must add the link ticket number (for example B-222) and I want to make sure that the ticket in Project A will now sync with the link ticket in Project B (B-222).

How can I make it?

Hi Francis,

Thanks for the answer, I noticed to the manual way ‘unexalate’ / ‘connect’, but I would like to make it automatically.

If you have any examples it will be greate.

Hi Sapir,

This is a case of ‘unexalate’ / ‘connect’

It can be done manually or via automation doing a couple of API calls

I will check if we can publish the apis and examples - but allow some time to get this done

Alternatively, check out the document How to set up advanced scripting environment, and use the autocomplete to find the right set of calls.
