Excellent question Juan.
Waiting for remote means that the synchronisation is still in progress but now this side is waiting for the other side to process the sync. Normally, if you see this state for a long time, it means there an problem on the other side, this is what you can do:
I don’t have access on the other side.

You should contact someone with admin access on the other side.
