Un-exalating a specific connection

Originally asked by Howard Kenny on 04 April 2020 (original question)

Sometimes an issue might have more than one connection, and one of those connections needs removing/unexalating. Currently, there is only the option to Unexalate all connections.

Is there a reason there isn’t an option to only Unexalate one specific Connection? Source: Jira Server/Datacenter (old community)

In the exalate cleanup tools, you should have an option to clean-up by connection. What this does it to schedule an unexalate for all the issues under sync by that connection.

Ah no, I meant I want to Unexalate one of the connections on an issue. Not the connection entirely.

I see, we have a pending feature to make it easier but there is a workaround:

  • Create a trigger that only includes that issue for the connection you want
  • Bulk unexalate the trigger

Let me know if this works.

Ah - we don’t have Bulk Unexalate yet. We need to upgrade, clearly. Thanks though!
