CF Snyc with Visual Mode

I have two quick questions that unfortunately I could not solve via the knowledge base. We are using Exalate in Visual Mode in Jira Service Management Cloud.

  1. we have created a Custom Field (select list single choice) on both instances Department (Example) with two entries. However, when mapping, I cannot select the CF on the other side in each case. Do I need to use this via scripting?
  2. the resolution can also only be mapped via script?
