What happens to Exalate without mapping status?

Originally asked by Ryoma Hagio on 08 December 2020 (original question)

Hi,

I used to Exalate and convert the workflow(TO DO, IN PROGRESS…) information between two Scrum boards with code like attached file.
I need to implement Exalate between other boards, and due to special circumstances, the one board workflow is undefined.
So, I need to exclude this workflow setting once, but the behavior in that case is unpredictable.
What happens to the workflow in Exalate if I don’t make this setting? Simply, does the Exalated ticket have no workflow information?
Or is there some default value? Or caused error?

Thanks.

Hello,

Exalated ticket status will have a default value in this case.

Thank you for your answer.
understood. In that case, I don’t seem to need to do any additional work. Thank you very much.
