JIRA Cloud Service desk to JIRA Next-Gen software project sync

We are trying to replicate JIRA Cloud Service desk ticket to JIRA Next-Gen software project. How do we map custom fields created in service desk project in next-gen project.

  1. The custom fields created, which are available for both Service desk and Classic Software projects are not listed under a Next-gen software project.
  2. If I create a custom field with the same name & properties in Next-gen project, the sync gives me the below error.

Could not create an issue: Field ‘customfield_10053’ cannot be set. It is not on the appropriate screen, or unknown.; Field ‘customfield_10167’ cannot be set. It is not on the appropriate screen, or unknown…

Please advise.
