We are currently setting up Proof of concept between Jira OnPrem (Private) and Azure DevOps. Connection is ok and standard sync works. How can we sync the Jira Component field to Custom text field in Azure DevOps ? Please provide lines for the Jira outgoing script and the Azure incoming script.

Hi,
I noticed you have a private instance connection, you must start the connection from the private instance and then choose âI do not have a URLâ to make it from private to public. Then provide with the invitation code to the Azure admin to be accepted. Also, you may review the documentation below.
Custom fields still donât sync. I donât think itâs related to initiating from the Public side and choose âI donât have a urlâ, because we also had to do that for the perfectly working connection we already have configured between Jira Private and Jira Public.
Status of the 2 connections in âPendingâ if we try initiate from Public side, so that will not work.
Must be another reason why custom fields donât sync. I just use the standard lines and I followed the documentation.
Status, commment, labels, description sycn fine in both directions.
If I initiate the connection from the Private side and accept the code on the Public side, then the connections stay in state âPendingâ. Also clicking the Exalate button and selecting that connection doesnât do anything. We are using the latest version and I already deactivated/activated the add-on on the Private side.
