How to I sync/exalate parent and child issues between 2 projects from jira cloud to jira on prem instances

In Jira cloud: an Epic in project A contains Task/Story as a child from Project B.

To be exalated to

In Jira on prem instance Epic in project A contains Task/Story as a child from Project B

What is working:

In Jira cloud, Epic in Project A has Task/Story as a child in Project A

Is working and exalated to

Jira on prem instance Epic in Project A has Task/Story as a child in Project A

Hi Syed,

Do you have the external script needed for Jira server? We have documentation on this, basically you need to sync the Epics first. Then, if you try “Exalating” a task within this Epic from Jira Cloud, you should be able to see, it got created under the Epic, in Jira Server.

Hi Andrii,

Yes, parent and child are synching using exalate if they are in same project, if they are in different project exalate doesnt link them, that is the issue.
