Epic syncronization in Jira

Originally asked by Harold Oconitrillo on 29 September 2023 (original question)

I want to try synchronization with Exalate. To synchronize epics, I uploaded the script in your documentation to the relevant folder on my server. When I call the

'Epic.sendInAnyOrder()'

and

'Epic.receive()'

methods, on the connections page, I encounter the error shown in the screenshot. How can I solve this problem?

Jira Version: 9.11.0
Exalate Version: 5.6.0-j8

Hello,

Are you synchronizing between a Jira Cloud instance and a Jira On-Premise instance?

Hello,

Sorry for my late response.
No, it’s Jira On-Premise to Jira On-Premise sync.
My local Jira version:9.11.0. My customer’s Jira version: 8.22.6.

As stated in the document in the link below, I added scripts named ‘Epic.groovy’ to the servers on both sides. Then, I made adjustments to the configuration as stated in the document. But I’m getting error and I can’t apply the changes. I didn’t get any error on the customer’s jira.

Error Message: "Could not apply changes.
