Hello,
I wonder if Tempo Capacity Planner times can be synchronize b/n two Jira Cloud instances? And if possible how can this be achieved.

Hi there!
In principle, this should be possible as long as the Tempo REST API provides the required endpoints for the specific data you want to synchronize. I found that Tempo provides API documentation for the Planner module here:
https://apidocs.tempo.io/dc/modules/planner.html
With Exalate, you can leverage the Jira Cloud HTTP client to interact with these REST APIs, which means you can extend synchronization logic beyond standard issue data. More details on how to achieve this can be found in our documentation here:
https://docs.exalate.com/docs/how-to-make-any-jira-cloud-rest-api-call-with-the-jira-cloud-http-client
This approach allows you to make the required API calls to Tempo and handle the synchronization of Planner times across your Jira Cloud instances.
Kind regards,
Ariel
Hi Martin,
To better understand your scenario and provide you with more precise guidance, could you share a bit more about your use case? For example:
Which specific Planner data are you looking to synchronize (planned time, allocations, etc.)?
Do you expect the synchronization to be bidirectional or one-way?
With these details, I’ll be able to advise you on the best approach.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Ariel Aguilar
