It seems that the shared script did not make much of a difference. Would it be possible for you to share the complete Outgoing and Incoming sync rules? Also, is it possible for you to share the payload as well? You can get that from the Entity Sync Status tab under the Exalate contents.

I believe 2-line breaks in ADO is converted as single line break in Jira and 1 line break in ADO is converted as no line break.
