HTML to Wiki doesn't respect list numbering when sending data from ADO to JIRA

Originally asked by Julie Metior on 23 June 2021 (original question)

Hi,

We’re syncing ADO with JIRA DC.

We’re using the HTML to Wiki & Wiki to HTML scripts.

However, when numbered lists sync from ADO to JIRA, the numbering order isn’t respected/reflected.

We get:-

1\.one

1\.two

1\.three

Instead of:-

1\.one

2\.two

3\.three

When we sync the same from JIRA to ADO it works as intended.

Has anyone else had the same happen and if so how did you resolve this.

Thanks.
