How to clear Issue Tracker Errors relating to required fields in Azure?

I’m getting these errors for fields that are “made” required based on an ADO rule, when syncing from JIRA to ADO:-

  • Bad response when Updating work item - 400 - response body: TF401320: Rule Error for field Integration Build. Error code: Required, HasValues, InvalidEmpty.
  • Bad response when Updating work item - 400 - response body: TF401320: Rule Error for field Resolution Reason. Error code: Required, HasValues, LimitedToValues, AllowsOldValue, InvalidEmpty.

Any advice on how to clear these errors please?

Hi Julie,

You may refer to Setting custom fields on Azure Devops (old community) which has related information to this error, or if you wish just to get rid of the error, you can click on the three dots next to it and choose “Ignore related sync”.
