Bulk issues sync

Originally asked by Harold Oconitrillo on 26 October 2022 (original question)

Dear Support Team,

I have some questions.

  1. Is it possible to sync bulk actions between projects using exalate. Just example: I’m resolving 10 “exalated” issues on the one Jira project, 10 related issues automatically resolve on the another one.
  2. Is there any way to change the name of an “actioner“ who posts email notifications. Please see attachment.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Based on question #2, it is possible via advanced scripting (using httpClient and user impersonation), could please elaborate more on the use case?

Kind regards.

Hi,

We are working on creating a script to resolve this permanently. Meanwhile, as a work-around until the solution is here, may you synchronize the change history from remote into a text custom field?

Kind regards,

Harold Cruz
