# Sync custom field from Linked Issue

We have a use case for syncing a custom field from a linked issue

For example:

**Source Instance** issue **UCP-1** → (linked issue / causes) → **RI-2**

Currently issue **RI-2** is synced to an issue in a remote project (issue **UNI-3** ).

I want a custom field ABC in **UNI-3** to be synced from custom field DEF in issue **UCP-1**

Is that possible?

Hi Berry,

This would only be possible if UCP-1 was in sync with RI-2 using Exalate and then RI-2 was in sync with UNI-3, which I don’t think is what you’re looking for…
