# I want to synchronize with the issue that already exists

Hi,

I’m going to sync to an issue that already exists at the destination.(Not use issue view more \> connector menu)  
I would like to send the issue key value to custom field from the source instance and search for the issue with that value at the destination and have a sync if it already exists.

Is it possible? How can I do?

Hi Levi Park

I would say no. You would have to use the menu: More/Connect approach!

Can not see any other way of letting Jira know how to trigger the sync to an existing issue.
