# How to set sprint

Hi team,

We’re looking to set the sprint field when an issue is first synced to the current sprint. This isn’t syncing the sprints between the projects, just setting a value in the newly created issue. I couldn’t find a way to do that in the documentation, is it possible?

It looks like that this is supported by default in Jira Server - check the link
