# How to merge/synchronize two multi-line custom fields (Jira Cloud - Jira Cloud)?

I would like to know if it’s possible to merge text from a custom field (Text Field (multi-line)) configured in both environments and being worked on at the same time. Configured trigger: “Issue update” (and create). How does Exalate handle this? We want to prevent losing data (text).

The latest will overwrite the first in both text field and multi line types.
