Ah - this is a local sync.
What you would need to do in the incoming sync whenever exalating AAA-22 is lookup the twin of the parent epic (in this case BBB-1) and assign it to the epic link field of BBB-2
The details are available in How to sync epics in Jira Server
Let me know if you find the details.Francis

Hello,
I would like to know the best way to approach this, because I see similar questions but not the same use case.
I am syincing two projects with Epics and Stories.
When I create Epic AAA-10 it syncs with project BBB-1.
Now I want to sync Story AAA-22, which in project AAA belongs to Epic AAA-10, when I sync, the Story BBB-2 gets created BUT because the Epic Link is synced also story BBB-2 gets linked with epic AAA-10 instead of BBB-1.
To summarize, in two projects synced, Stories get linked to the source project Epic instead of the Epic of the destiny project. How can I fix the destiny project so that the stories get the information from the destiny Epic?
Thanks!
